Dr. Luís Puga

Cardiologist specialised in cardiovascular imaging.

I completed my Integrated Master’s in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto in 2014. I undertook my cardiology residency at the Coimbra University Hospital Centre, enhancing my training with an elective placement at the Heart Institute in Maputo, Mozambique.

Between 2021 and 2022, I completed a fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital in Vigo, Spain.

I currently work at the Entre Douro e Vouga Local Health Unit and the Gaia/Espinho Local Health Unit, practicing clinical cardiology, sports cardiology, and imaging techniques such as advanced ultrasound, interventional imaging, and cardiac computed tomography.
